The same mask doesn't look as bad when worn I suppose. The hat came from the Don Post Studios Freddy and I made the glove out of copper pipe just like Freddy does in the film. The blades are plastic, fixed with epoxy glue and painted silver to look like weld. The rivets are those little brass paper clips that fold out.
